About me

I'm Kari Anne, and I’m all about creating cozy cottage vibes, diving into DIY projects, and getting my hands dirty in the garden. So happy to have you here!

Growing up, we didn’t have much money, but that didn’t stop us from making our spaces feel like home. Early on, I learned how to be resourceful, turning what little we had into something beautiful. I became a pro at finding dupes before I even knew what they were called. And honestly, that’s still how I live today. Why spend more when you can get the same thing for less—or better yet, create it yourself?

I've moved 17 times now, and each place tells its own story. My mom was always the heart behind our home, no matter where we lived. She had this magical way of making any space feel cozy, whether she was stenciling faux bricks on the walls or adding her personal touch to a picture frame. Her DIY spirit has stuck with me. Now that I'm an adult (well, kinda 🤣), I carry that same energy into my life. I was lucky enough to grow up in an environment where I could express myself—pink, blue, black hair, you name it. My room was always shifting, a reflection of who I was becoming, and it’s no surprise that even now, I’m constantly rearranging and redecorating.

I don’t live in a million-dollar home. In fact, I don’t even own the place I live in. But that’s never stopped me from making it my own. Every day, I find new and creative ways to fall in love with where I am. I hope you find a little inspiration here, too.
